07/13/2011 - College PREP - Washington DC, MD Nathan is a thin, lanky LHP with a pitchers build. On the mound, Nathan has a short arm action, good direction toward home, and he gets good extension. He has on-time separation, he keeps his eyes to his target, and he lands in a square position. Nathan has good control with his pitches and he lands in a complete / athletic position. Abilities on the mound can further improve by not rushing through his balance point and with added arm strength. Offensively, Nathan has a square / athletic set-up, a short stride, and decent balance. He has a level swing, he puts the ball in play, and he makes decent use of his lower 1/2. Offensive numbers can improve if Nathan can get his front foot down sooner, by throwing his hands more directly to the ball, and with more lower 1/2.
