06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Nathaniel continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws (93 mph velocity) on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. Range is a plus as he reads balls well off the bat and covers a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (94 mph exit velocity) as he stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Nathaniel has a tremendous upside and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

11/08/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Columbia, SC Nathaniel is a strong, athletic OF who has a tremendous future on the diamond. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way (6.73 60 time). He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. Throws are accurate with on line zip (90 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression as he connects with power driving (90 mph exit velocity) to all parts of the field. With 2 years to further develop, Nathaniel has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the college coaches with his baseball abilities.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
