07/13/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Washington, DC Nicholas is a young/athletic 2-way player as a SS/RHP. With the bat, this righty has a square/athletic setup with rhythm to load. He takes an aggressive hack and squares the ball up with pop. At SS, Frazier has active prep and works smoothly from right to left around the GB. He moves well laterally to his glove-side and gathers well. On the mound, this RHP has a 3-pitch mix coming from a 3/4 arm slot and loose arm action. He works to a tall balance point, has on-time separation and drives in-line toward the dish. FB tops out at 68 mph while showing slight run. Curveball shows 10/4 shape - 54-56 mph. Nicholas has upside and will continue to improve by working on the following.
Offense 1. Load 2. Contact points 3. Relax/loosen grip Defense 1. Arm strength (long toss) 2. Glove presentation 3. Footwork on the DP Pitching 1. More lower 1/2 drive 2. Finish with extension
