12/27/2015 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Nick is a versatile athlete who showed well during his time at Pirate City. He is a coachable player who applies what he taught and is a quick learner. At SS, he shows active footwork and comes to get the GB. He funnels smoothly, has a clean exchange and works in-line toward 1B. At the plate, Nick steps in with a purpose. He barrels the ball up and creates solid contact. He hustles around the base paths racking up 2 triples at the event. On the bump, this RHP maintains smooth tempo and repeats his delivery well. He has smooth separation and works the ball in and out, filling up the zone with strikes. FB now tops out at 80 mph showing occasional tail. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape with good depth. Continuing to develop a CH will help to improve effectiveness on the mound. Nick is a well rounded player who has a bright future ahead of him in the game.
