12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2
Nick matched his best arm strength at 82 MPH and lowered his 60 time to 8.02 seconds in Pirate City. At 3B, Nick showed athletic actions, active feet, and a presentable glove. He fields out in front of his body, makes plays consistently, and throws with a short/accurate arm across the diamond. On the mound, Nick's FB ranged from 75 - 77 MPH, he has good balance over the rubber, and gets good extension on his pitches. He has a controlled landing toward home plate and aggressively attacks hitter. Offensively, Nick stands in squarely and has a good bat angle to the ball. He flashes some strength in his swing, and he uses his lower 1/2.

Nicholas is a 3B/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Tall frame, with broad shoulders, athletic build and plenty of physical projection remaining. In the infield, he starts with fluid/efficient feet and has good body control at the baseball. Works right to left while trying to create good fielding angles while picking out hops. Fields from a low/square fielding position, with a quick/clean exchange, and showed good glove actions. A short arm action as he makes accurate/on-line throws from a high 3/4 arm slot at 82mph. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch. He has a projectible from and keeps his eyes on target throughout delivery. Attacks hitters with his FB that sat 74-77mph, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with medium break, and a developing changeup. CB was best pitch during his bullpen. A left-handed hitter, he hits from an upright and even stance. Square stride who tracks ball to barrel. Pulls hands inside and has an all fields approach. Sprayed balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 70mph during his round of BP. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Nicholas having a bright future on the baseball field.
