08/02/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Nickolas is a talented C/3B prospect who has a versatile skill set and graduates in 2020. Offensively, Nickolas has an open stance with his weight on his heels. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and long, open stride. He shows fast bat speed with a direct swing path. Nickolas engages his hips and uses his lower half throughout his swing. He has the ability to drive the ball to each with power. Behind the plate, Nickolas has a solid setup and tracks the ball well. He presents an effective, low target. Nickolas has good hands receiving and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. He is developing a quick release and building arm strength. Overall, Nickolas is a well-rounded prospect who has the right approach to the game and potential to get even better.
