04/29/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Fairfield (Sacramento), CA Nikko is a young, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Nikko has quick feet, agile movements to the ball, and he fields in an athletic position. He presents his glove well, fields smoothly, and has a clean exchange with a quick release to his target. On the mound, Nikko attacks the zone aggressively, he gets good extension on his pitches, and rotates through toward his target. At the plate, Nikko has a square set-up, he loads well, and stands in well balanced. He has a direct barrel to the ball, makes hard contact, and can spray the ball gap to gap. Nikko can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
