01/18/2019 - Baseball Factory National Spring Training at Pirate City
Noah is an athletic and hard-working 2021 2-way prospect that made several adjustments throughout the weekend. At the hot corner, Noah has active pre-pitch movement, he fields the ball in an athletic position, and makes the routine play. He has a clean exchange, throws from multiple arm angles, and makes accurate throws. He needs to continue to present a low/early glove, improve his first step to the ball, and build arm strength. At the plate, Noah starts in a squared stance, keeps the barrel on plane to the ball, and creates backside drive with his lower half. During the games Noah showed a middle approach and had several quality at bats with 2 hits. He needs to continue to load his hands back into the drive position, attack the inside part of the ball, and hunt the fastball. On the bump, Noah stays directional toward the plate and controls his fastball down in the zone. He needs to continue to find a balance point over the backside, separate on time, and work north to south in his delivery. Noah will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
