08/02/2021 - All-In Membership - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Noah is an 1B/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2023. Tall frame, with long levers, athletic build with strength to the build and room to develop. At 1B, he starts with active feet and shows ability to cover ground. He is a big target at first base. Showed good footwork on balls to his back hand side. Long arm action into a 3/4 release point with accurate/on-line throws to second base with an arm velocity of 73mph. A right-handed pitcher, who has long levers and a projectible frame. Noah gathers over the rubber, with a good balance point, and throws downhill. Stays tall on the backside, with a closed frontside, and separates on time. Throws a FB that sat 66-68mph, a true over hand breaking ball, and a developing changeup that he throws with FB arm speed. FB was best pitch during bullpen session. A right-handed hitter begins with an upright and even stance. Quiet/smooth actions, with quiet head/eyes, and rotates lower half to contact point. Flat bat through the zone who hit hard line drives into both gaps with a bat exit velocity of 84mph during his round of BP. With continued growth and development, we see this 2-way prospect having opportunities to play at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
