07/25/2018 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has the makings of a special type player at the next level. Foot speed has improved as he ran his fastest 60 time to date, now a superior runner at 6.53. At 2B, defensive abilities are tremendous as he displays smooth fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy on his throws. He will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine, now displaying outstanding hitting / power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. He is a tough out and controls the bat well, showing as a lead off type hitter. At the event, he was 7 for 12 and was a tough out. Mental makeup may be his best tool as he plays the game the right way. He makes good things happen on the field with great baseball instincts. Noah has the tools to play at the next level and will make some school a special type player.
