At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying through a tall, squared setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength and sprays the ball to all fields. At the event he was 5 for 9 with a 2B. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 78 mph. Fastball showed a range of 75-78 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for pitch with sinking action. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength which will aid in his development on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.
