06/25/2016 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Noah is an athletic LHH OF who gives 100% every time he steps onto the field. He is very coachable and brings a positive attitude to the field. Defensively, he takes a quick first step with solid routes to track down fly-balls down in the gaps. Foot speed has improve as he now runs a 7.14. He maintains athletic/fluid actions working through the ball and gaining ground toward his target with strong/accurate throws. At the plate, this lefty has an athletic setup with simple/quiet actions. He has an aggressive approach and is ready to jump on 1st pitch FB's. Hands are quick through a short/level path as he squares the ball up and drives it with some pop. He battles at the plate and proved to be a tough out, going an impressive 5 for 8 with 3 singles, a double, a triple and 3 walks. He is aggressive on the base paths and isn't afraid to swipe a bag. Clement is the type of player who makes things happen when he's on the diamond.

05/15/2016 - College PREP - Bowie, MD Noah is a tall lanky L/L two way player at OF/1B. In the outfield this left-handed thrower is athletic with quick feet to move laterally. Repeating his over top delivery allows him to stay on top of the baseball, but working on maintaining momentum through his target and staying linear will assist with improved accuracy. At 1B, he covers ground to both his forehand and backhand. Noah is soft and smooth with glove actions and clean glove to hand exchange. As a hitter, this lefty flashes good bat speed with power to his pull side. He is a patient hitter with loose actions in his stance, rhythm, good balance, and a direct path which allows the ball to jump off his bat. Noah is a 2017 grad who shows good ability to handle the stick and he will be able to help a college roster in the near future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
