  • 3BPosition Projection

11/17/2019 - College PREP - Montgomery, AL Noah is a solid, strong 3B who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying outstanding hitting abilities with tremendous power potential through a crouched, athletic setup. Hands are quick and aggressive working through a level swing path. He loads well and utilizes his lower half well with rhythm. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. At 3B, feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. With 2 years to further develop, Noah will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities as he continues to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
