02/19/2024 - National Showcase - Gambrills, MD Noah continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities on the diamond. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are soft / sure and he showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt, saving throws. Feet / hands work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy / carry (87 mph velocity) on his throws. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness (7.35 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. At the plate he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus as he swings with intent. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side.

07/28/2023 - Baseball Factory National World Series at JRTC (HS) Noah continues to shine in his baseball abilities on the diamond. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active and displays proper footwork around the bag and he is a quality receiver. Hands are clean but needs to present earlier and more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 83 mph. Fastball showed a range of 71-79 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sink. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a great teammate and is very coachable on the field.

03/26/2023 - National Showcase - Bowie, MD Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At 1B, defensive abilities have improved as he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. 08/04/2022 - Baseball Factory Summer World Series at the NY Mets Spring Training Complex Noah is a class of 2025 1B/RHP. He shows off a good frame that could benefit by getting in the weight room to add athleticism. In the field, he showed solid fielding mechanics and worked through the baseball. Had good throws across the diamond. Arm velo needs some improvement that could come with the help of a long toss program. At the plate, he hit from a tall stance. Did a good job hitting into a firm front side and showed feel for the barrel. On the mound, he did a good job finding a consistent balance point. Tried to engage his lower 1/2 in his delivery. Showed some feel for his pitches. Fastball worked up to 73 MPH while his best pitch was his Curveball at 52-56 MPH. Noah is a good kid that needs to continue his development. We hope to see him again soon.

05/15/2022 - All-In Membership - Bowie, MD Noah is a tall RHP/1B prospect who will graduate in 2025. On the mound, Noah gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and finishes with a controlled landing. Noah operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 70mph. Breaking ball sits from 55-59mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 54-60mph. Striding inline toward the plate can help Noah improve his pitch command. In the field, Noah makes the routine plays and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Noah can field ground balls more efficiently by getting into a more athletic fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and gets into his load well. He works through a short swing and sprays the ball to all fields. Maintaining center balance throughout his swing can help Noah barrel up more baseballs. Overall, Noah is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
