Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 2B/OFPosition Projection

10/06/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Parker (Denver), CO Noah worked out at 2nd base and in the OF during his last workout with The Factory. In the INF, Noah has a good 1st step to the ball, quick feet, and soft/sure hands. He fields low and athletically, his exchange is quick and clean, and he throws with momentum and accuracy across the diamond. In the OF, Noah has active feet, he tracks the ball well, and fields athletically. He goes back on the ball well and throws with momentum to his cut off man. Offensively, this RHH has good balance, a square stance, and he swings in good rhythm. He makes level/consistent contact and uses his lower body.

01/18/2019 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Noah is an athletic and talented 2025 2B prospect with high energy. At 2B, Noah is on time with his prep step, he presents a low /early glove, and plays through his backhand. He has a clean exchange, throws from multiple arm angles, and is aggressive to the ball. At the plate, Noah starts in an athletic stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and gets his front foot down on time. He has good barrel control and attacks the ball with his lower half. He needs to continue to hunt the fastball and have a gap to gap approach. Noah is a hard worker and will continue to build strength over time. He's a gamer and we hope to see his progress in the future.

10/07/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Parker (Denver), CO Noah is a thin, athletic, 2-way player who plays 2nd base and OF. In the INF, Noah has active feet, good pre-pitch actions, and he fields low and athletically. He has soft hands, works around the ball well, and throws with a quick/accurate arm to his target. In the OF, Noah has agile movements, he works behind the ball well, and throws with consistency and momentum to his target. Offensively, Noah has an athletic set-up, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He makes square contact, he can spray to all fields, and he gets his lower body through. Overall skills can improve if Noah can work on the following.

Infield
1. Range
2. Arm strength
Outfield
1. Catch higher
2. Arm strength
Offense
1. Bat speed
2. Strength

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
