Official Scouting Report

  • 5Class Rating
  • OF/LHPPosition Projection

01/23/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Noah increased arm velocity to 81 MPH, lowered 60 time to 7.32, and showed a spike in hitting numbers during his last workout with The Factory. In the OF, Noah has quick/active feet, agile range, and he fields athletically. He works behind the ball well, his exchange is clean, and he throws with carry and accuracy to his cut off man. More pre-pitch actions, and using 2 hands will help improve defensive numbers. On the mound, Noah has good balance, on-time hand separation, and a clean arm circle. He has a repeatable delivery, he gets solid extension on his pitches, and he finishes with his chest out over his front knee. If Noah can work on a downhill plane, and continue to add arm strength, mound effectiveness will get better. At the plate, Noah has a square stance, good balance, and he tracks the ball well. He has fast bat speed, he makes solid/consistent contact, and he hits line drives. Work on load, timing, and added physical strength will help hitting spike.

01/17/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he tracks proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls, playing through well with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, hitting / power potential have improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 72 mph. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with loose spin and gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Noah is an OF/LHP prospect who showed well at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Noah takes a good first step and shows smooth footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a tall stance with his hands held high. He is controlled getting into a small load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a compact swing with plus barrel control, leading to solid contact to all fields. On the mound, Noah gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and stays inline towards the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. Noah shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 65mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 57-59mph with 1-7 break. Overall, Noah is a talented prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

12/29/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Noah is a thin 2-way player who pitches and plays OF. In the OF, Noah has quick/fluid feet, soft hands, and he moves with agility to the ball. He fields out in front, his exchange is quick and clean, and he throws with carry and accuracy to his cut off man. On the mound, this LHP has good mechanics, a loose/clean arm circle, and he separates his hands on time. He has smooth actions, a controlled landing toward home, and he competes in the zone. At the plate, Noah has a square stance, good balance, and he swings aggressively. He has good balance, an aggressive swing, and he can spray the ball to all fields. Solid overall skills can get even better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
