12/27/2019 - College PREP - Windsor (Madison), WI Noah is an athletic and talented 2021 RHP prospect. On the bump, Noah separates on time, he has a clean arm action, and extends through his release point. He gets over the back leg and rides his back leg down hill. He throws his fastball down in the zone, he has a medium break on his curveball, and has some run on his changeup. At the plate, Noah starts in a closed stance and loads his hands back into the drive position. He has a quiet head, he shows good bat speed, and he looks to hit the ball through the middle part of the field. Noah continues to improve and we hope to see him continue to progress.

12/28/2018 - College PREP - Windsor (Madison), WI Noah is a strong and athletic 2021 2-way prospect. Behind the dish, Noah presents a low target and tries to work behind the ball when receiving. He leads with his glove and gets his lower half into a strong position when blocking. When throwing, Noah has a clean exchange and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. At the plate, Noah starts in a tall and closed stance. He has a middle approach and is aggressive to the ball. On the bump, Noah gather over the rubber, separates on time, and has a loose arm action. He creates run on his fastball and commands the bottom half of the zone with his off-speed pitches. Noah will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

12/28/2017 - College PREP - Windsor (Madison), WI Noah is a lean catcher who will graduate in 2021. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line to his target through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times showed a range of 2.40-2.60 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the baseball quicker. Hands are soft / sure and he tracks balls well through the receiving process but needs to present a lower target. He uses his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner and improve flexibility. At the plate he an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 4 years to further develop, Noah has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
