01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (HS) Noah is a 2B/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2022. Medium frame, well proportioned, athletic build with strength present and plenty of room to add more strength. At 2B, he starts with efficient footwork and ability to create good fielding angles. Ability to throw from multiple arm slots, with accurate/on-line throws, and an arm velocity of 77mph. On the mound, he gathers over the rubber and coils into his rear hip. 3 pitch mix with his fastball sitting 70-72mph and a developing breaking ball with 11/5 shape. In 2 innings of work, he recorded 3 strikeouts. At the plate, he sets up in an upright and open stance. Small hand load, with good separation, and gets extended through contact. Hit hard line drives to all fields and reached base 4 times in live game action with a bat exit velocity of 81mph. With continued growth and development, we foresee Noah having opportunities to play at the next level.

At the plate, he begins with a wide stance and demonstrated the ability to spray the ball from foul pole to foul pole. Once he learns to relax his hands his bat speed will increase. His continued improvement will open the door for him to play at the next level.

He shows the ability to mix multiple pitches in for strikes. Best pitch was his changeup that was 61-64 MPH with some depth. Also showed a fastball that worked up to 69 MPH. Noah is a good player with room to continue to develop.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
