06/07/2015 - Interactive Video Program - Medford (Boston), MA Noah is a 2-way player (SS/RHP) who has a tall & athletic frame (5'7"/135). With the bat, this RHH shows a balanced approach with rhythm in his hands. Swing is level to and through the zone as he engages his lower 1/2 well and drives to ball to all parts of the field. At SS, Noah displays active prep footwork moving well on the balls of his feet. He gathers smoothly and has a quick/clean exchange to fire accurate throws across the diamond. On the bump, this RHP has a 3-pitch mix (FB, SL, SPL) coming from a high 3/4 arm slot. He works to a controlled balance point, maintains level shoulders and stays directional toward the dish. FB ranges from 64-68 mph while slider has 10/4 shape. Splitter is best off-speed as he throws it with FB arm speed, keeping it down in the zone. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
