Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • OFPosition Projection

01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Noah continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. In the OF, he continues to shine. He utilizes his quick/aggressive feet as he moves well laterally, displaying range (6.72 60 time) as he covers a ton of ground. He displays smooth / clean actions with hands / feet working well together through the fielding process as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy on his throws.

01/16/2017 - College PREP - Mesa (Phoenix), AZ Noah is a lean, athletic 2020 OF prospect. A switch hitter, he shows a smooth swing from both sides of the plate to make consistent, line drive contact and hit the ball hard. He loads to a vertical stack and gets his front foot down on time with good separation between his hips and hands. He stays short to the ball with a level path and gets extension through contact to show some pop to the pull side, finishing on a firm front leg. In the outfield, he shows active feet working to the ball with efficient routes and a quick first step. He gets behind fly balls to play through and gain momentum to his target to throw with accuracy. Implementing a long toss program will give him the arm strength to become a complete defender. Noah is an exciting, young prospect with a high ceiling on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
