01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Noah is a skilled and athletic versatile player who continues to shine year after year at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. He plays both corner infield spots as well as getting behind the dish. As a hitter, this lefty shows an open stance with active/loose hands. Swing is direct and level to and through the zone as he whips the barrel with speed and connects with pop (exit velocity of 89 mph) and showing the ability to drive the ball to the deep parts of the park. At 1B, he maintains athletic actions and moves well to groundballs hit to his right and left. Behind the plate, he sits in well with athletic actions, tracking and sticking pitches in the zone. Footwork is quick as he replaces well and puts throws on the bag to 2B in 2.01. Roberts is a talented 2019 grad who has a bright future in the game.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Noah is an athletic (6'2"/185) LHH 3B who showed well during his time at the Under Armour All-American Pre-Season Tournament. Defensively, he displays active prep and works around the GB from right to left. He presents his glove out in front, funnels smoothly and makes strong/accurate throws with zip across the diamond. As a hitter, this lefty shows an athletic stance with fluid rhythm to load. Quick hands fire the ball through a level path as he connects and hits the ball where it's pitched, spraying it to all parts of the field with pop (exit velocity = 89 mph). He shows good zone awareness as he drew 3 walks at the event. Noah is a projectable 2019 grad who will make things happen offensively and defensively when he steps onto the diamond.

03/22/2015 - College PREP - Bowie, MD Noah (2019 grad) has a talented LH hitting 2-way player as a 3B/RHP. Offensively, he shows a square setup with good balance. Swing is short/direct to and through the zone as he connects and drives it to all parts of the field. At 3B, Noah has active prep and moves well around the GB. He gathers smoothly and has a clean exchange to throw. Keeping his feet moving and playing through the GB will help to improve his defensive skill-set. On the bump, this RHP throws a FB & CH from a high 3/4 arm slot and long/loose arm action. He works to a controlled balance point, maintains level shoulders and works in-line toward the dish. FB ranges from 71-74 mph as he works the ball to both sides of the plate. A young player - Noah has a solid makeup with a ton of upside on the diamond.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
