06/06/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Noah is a very talented SS who can make things happen both offensively and defensively. With the bat, this RHH shows an athletic setup with fluid rhythm to load. Hands are quick as the ball jumps off of his barrel to the deep parts of the park. He is a threat once on base with his speed (60 yard dash of 6.63). At SS, Noah moves fluid from right to left and covers a ton of ground. Actions are clean/smooth with a quick transfer to throw. Throws are accurate/on-line with carry to 1B. Rodriguez is a special type of athlete who is fun to watch when he steps onto the field.

05/21/2017 - College PREP - San Antonio, TX Noah improved his power abilities and continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. Power potential is outstanding as he has strength in his swing. Hands are quick (91 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus with power showing best to the pull side. At 2B, he displays fluid actions with hands / feet working well through the fielding process. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turns of the double play. In the OF, he utilizes his quick feet well in tracking down balls, displaying range. He works to get behind balls and plays through well with momentum to his target. Throws are accurate as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with on line carry. Noah has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

02/19/2017 - College PREP - Sugar Land (Houston), TX Noah is a strong, athletic 2018 prospect with the versatility to play and contribute at multiple positions. He shows advanced bat to ball skills with feel for the barrel and the ability to drive the ball (90mph exit velo). He has a balanced, square setup at the plate, loading to a powerful bat angle and showing quick hands through the zone. His fast bat speed and barrel accuracy lead to hard contact and gap pop with missiles all over the field. Freeing up his top hand will result in more consistent, hard contact. His blazing speed shows up in the outfield as he regularly can track down balls hit deep into the gaps and go back on the ball with ease. He gets around the ball and plays through to create good throwing angles and generate momentum to his target. At second, he takes efficient angles to extend his range, especially to the glove side. He fields in a low, athletic position with soft hands to make plays cleanly and has a quick transfer and release to get rid of the ball. Noah is a prospect who has the look of a contributor at the next level.

10/30/2016 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a bright future on the diamond. He shows off very impressive speed that is visible in all aspects of his game from his range in both the infield and outfield to his ability to steal and take extra bases on the base paths. He shows off his athleticism in the outfield with range to both sides and tracks down the ball well with good angles. He plays through the ball to gain momentum to his target with a good crow hop to unleash strong, accurate throws. At short, he is a vacuum to the glove side with good range and efficient angles. He has a quick, clean exchange to throw, making good DP feeds to second. At the dish, he has a square setup with a short stride and activated load to a powerful bat angle. He works to drive the ball to the middle of the field with a direct path and has gap to gap ability with an incorporated lower half and fast bat through the zone. Keeping his hips and hands connected will allow him to react to and hit off speed pitches better and become a complete hitter. We look forward to watching Noah's continued progression as a ballplayer.

07/20/2016 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 16U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Noah is a very talented MIF who leaves it on the field. In the MIF, this athlete has quick twitch actions moving fluidly right to left. Hands are soft/sure with a smooth transfer/exchange to throw. He has a very strong arm (87 mph) with the ability to zip the ball across the diamond from deep in the hole. As a hitter - Noah shows a balanced/athletic setup with a solid base. He swings against a firm front side, engages his lower 1/2 and drives the ball with pop on a line (exit velocity = 90 mph). He has good zone awareness and doesn't swing at much that he cannot handle. He battles at the plate as he went 4 for 7 with 2 singles, 2 doubles and 3 BB's. Rodriguez is a skilled athlete who has a very bright future ahead of him in the game.

01/10/2016 - College PREP - San Antonio, TX Noah is an athletic (5'9"/155) MIF. Defensively, he has active footwork and moves fluidly around the GB, picking out the correct hops. Hands are soft/sure as he gathers well and fires strong/accurate throws to 1B. With the bat, Noah has a balanced setup with rhythm in his hands. Swing is level as he connects and drives the ball back up the middle of the field. Even more power potential is there with more use of his lower 1/2 throughout the swing.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
