12/06/2015 - College PREP - Nyack (NYC), NY Noah continues to show that he is a prospect for the next level. He has a well-proportioned frame and a live body that exudes good energy on the field. As a defender he gets good jumps and closes on balls aggressively. His exchange/release is efficient and his short arm action gets rid of the ball quickly while still getting good carry on his throws through the target. As a hitter Noah has a natural, rhythmic move to hit and shows the ability to impact the ball with authority. He is confident and competent in the box and should be able to handle higher level pitching and velocity without issue. This is an OF prospect to watch.

01/17/2014 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at Pirate City Noah is a young OF who will graduate in 2016. Defensively, Noah takes good angles to the ball, he gets in a square position, and is quick to the ball. He makes plays, his exchange is clean, and he has an average arm with some accuracy to his target. OF skills can improve if Noah can quicken his feet and release, and add arm strength and accuracy. Offensively, Noah has quick hands, a good load, and solid balance. He has some bat speed, and squares it up on the barrel. If Noah can throw his hands more directly to the ball, improve his barrel accuracy, and tap into more lower 1/2, offensive numbers will spike.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
