07/04/2020 - Baseball Factory Firecracker Classic 18U Noah is an exciting SS with tremendous aptitude and game IQ. His tall/lean/athletic frame is perfectly suited for next level play in the middle of the infield with measurables that back him up. He was very athletic to make all plays with clean hands out in front. His arm played very well, hitting 84 mph with the raw velo, allowing him to make plays in the 6 hole. Offensively, he was square and athletic in his setup and had comfortable hands. He got his body activated to hit and was controlled with his rhythm/timing. His lower half drove through contact, accelerating the barrel quickly with hand and hip coordination. In all - with only being a 2022, Noah has a chance to be a very immediate impact guy at the next level.

12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Noah continues to show a promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is firm and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot ground. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry (80 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. He has some strength in his swing with the baseball jumping off the bat when centered. At the event, he was 3 for 6 with a 3B. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

09/15/2019 - College PREP - Moosic (Scranton), PA Noah is a tall, lean, SS who will graduate in 2022. Defensively, Noah has soft hands, active feet, and he moves well to the baseball. He presents his glove well, covers ground, and has a consistent arm with momentum to his target. Defensive abilities can get better by playing a little lower and continuing to add foot speed. Offensively, Noah has an athletic stance, a short/square stride, and good balance. He has fast bat speed, he makes consistent contact gap to gap, and he gets his lower body through. Improved timing and more load can help hitting numbers spike.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
