Official Scouting Report

06/16/2018 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Noah improved hitting and defensive grades at 3B during his time in Omaha. He is a great young man who is very coachable. At 3B, Noah presents his glove well, he fields in a square position, and flashes a clean backhand. He makes plays consistently, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy from a short arm action to his target. At the plate, hitting and power grades both improved to 45's. He has good balance, a square set-up, and he swings in good rhythm. Noah has good bat whip, he works the ball gap to gap, and gets his lower body through.

05/13/2018 - College PREP - Spokane, WA Noah is a tall, strong 3B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, he displays clean / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works to square balls up. Hands are firm but will benefit by presenting more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws display accuracy but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Noah has a ton potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
