09/02/2018 - College PREP - San Francisco, CA Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, hitting / power potential has really improved, now displaying well above average hitting abilities with solid power potential through a crouched setup. Hands are loose and work to and through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. In the OF, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through more with momentum to his target. Glove action is soft and he presents well, utilizing two hands through the process. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but he will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program.

01/07/2018 - College PREP - Silicon Valley, CA Noah is a talented outfield prospect who has an athletic build. As a left-handed hitter, Noah has an athletic set up with a firm front side and his weight in the back of his stance. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and square stride. Noah has a direct swing path with good hands getting extension at contact. He has a smooth swing with a high finish. Noah has the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field. In the outfield, Noah plays with effective footwork and an aggressive approach as he shows great reads. He stays behind the baseball and fields it in a square position with firm hands. Noah has a quick arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. He is accurate consistently hitting his cutoff man. Overall, Noah has skill on both sides of the ball giving him a bright future on the diamond.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
