01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future. On the mound, he shows a solid presence. Arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 79 mph. Fastball showed a range of 76-79 mph. Breaking ball displays 12/6 shape with late downward break. Command / control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to square balls up. Glove action is soft / sure and presents out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve his foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

12/20/2017 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Noah is a coachable RHP/1B prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Baseball Factory Winter Classic. On the mound, Noah shows a solid delivery as he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm action and stays inline towards the plate, finishing square to his target. Noah has a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 77mph. Breaking ball sits from 64-66mph with 10-4 break. Noah can improve as a pitcher by allow his arm to extend through on his release. In the field, Noah shows efficient footwork and is very agile ranging to the ball. He makes the routine plays and keeps his throws accurate to his target. Noah can improve defensively by getting into a more athletic fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and gets back into his load well. He comes through with his lower half and produces fast bat speed, leading to hard contact and solid pop. Noah can improve as a hitter by taking a square stride to the pitcher. With four more years to develop, Noah has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
