Nolan is a 2026 catching prospect who showed well at the Mid-Atlantic Skills Training. He tracked the ball very well in the batter's box and had natural rhythm to his approach. He set up in a solid, square stance and did a good job of using the entire field. More lower half and better balance throughout will help the consistency of his hard contact. As a defender, Nolan showed instincts to go with good, short arm action behind the plate. He can improve his flexibility some and stick balls with stronger hands to help him on the receiving side. Overall, there is a good feel for the game with Nolan and it will be fun to watch him continue to develop.
