04/11/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Colorado Springs, CO Nolan is an athletic SS/RHP who continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. In the field, Nolan shows quick footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, firing strong throws through his target. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through a square setup. He is fluid to load and hits against a strong front side. He works through a short swing with plus bat speed, leading to loud line drives to all fields. On the mound, Nolan operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 84mph. Breaking ball sits from 62-66mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 72-73mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Nolan is a talented prospect who has the skill set to excel at the next level.

02/23/2020 - Accelerated College PREP - Parker (Denver), CO Nolan is an athletic SS/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2023. In the field, Nolan shows fluid footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into a low, athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He gets into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed and good extension, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. On the mound, Noah gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works inline towards the plate and extends through his release, finishing square to his target. Nolan shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph. Breaking ball sits from 64-65mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Nolan is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he continues to progress.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
