07/06/2020 - All-In Membership - New Britain (Hartford), CT Parke is a R/R SS who has a strong frame. With the bat, this RHH stands in well with centered balance and fluid rhythm to load. Swing is quick as he swings against a firm front side. He squares the ball up hitting consistent/hard line-drives (exit velocity = 86 mph). At SS, he has active prep footwork and moves well on the balls of his feet. He works into a low/athletic fielding position, tracks GB's into a soft mitt and gathers well. He has quick hands with the ability to turn the DP efficiently. Only a 2022 grad - Parke has a solid skill-set with upside on the diamond.

12/27/2018 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Parke is a talented shortstop prospect who has a strong, projectable build. As a right-handed hitter, Parke has a tall, open setup with good athleticism. He has comfortable hands with a complex load and heavy stride. Parke shows fast bat speed with an on-plane swing path. He has an explosive lower half and good coordination with his hands. Parke has the ability to spray the ball to all fields. In the field, Parke has an athletic ready position on the balls of his feet. He has a quick first step and moves with agile actions covering good ground. Parke presents his glove and fields the ball with relaxed hands. He has a clean exchange and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot getting rid of the ball quickly. His throws are accurate with good carry. Overall, Parke has skills on both sides of the ball giving him a bright future on the diamond.

07/23/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Providence, RI Parke is a young SS with an athletic frame. Defensively, Parke has efficient footwork, soft hands, and he fields in good rhythm. He keeps the ball in front, plays through properly, and he throws with carry and accuracy from a short arm to his target. Offensively, Parke has a square set-up, good balance, and a level swing. He swings on plane, can spray to all fields, and makes square/consistent contact. Parke can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
