06/09/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory All-State Tournament Parker is a solid, athletic C/RHP who is a prospect on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering ball out front. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. Pop times showed in the 2.13 with accuracy / carry (95 mph velocity) on his throws. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (87 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, and strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. With 2 years to further develop, Parker has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the college coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
