10/18/2023 - Arizona Easton Fall Classic Parker is an exceptional OF in the 2024 class. Scouts felt he was the most outstanding player at the Easton Classic with his overall play, energy and attitude towards the game. In the field, he shows advanced athletic ability with his feet and body in sync. Body is in full control and he covers his defensive zone well. Works behind the baseball and fields out in front. Redirects the baseball with clean actions and is accurate to his targets. One area to improve would be to add arm strength to his game. Arm currently plays in LF and with his instincts and speed, he can play all 3 positions with additional carry on the baseball. At the plate, he has an athletic feel and shows an excellent swing path. His barrel to ball skills are advanced and he showed well with reaching base 6 out of nine trips to the plate (4 1B/2BB). Overall, a college program is going to receive an impact player next fall.

07/13/2023 - National Showcase - Tacoma, WA Parker is an OF/RHP who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame athletic build with strength throughout. In the OF, shows good agility and quick/fluid footwork. Good 1st step reads enable him to create good fielding angles. 1 hand catch, with active feet, and creates momentum to target. Fields from an athletic/square fielding position, with a clean exchange, and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. He made accurate/on-line throws with an arm velocity up to 79mph into the infield. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch. It is a simple delivery, and he shows ability to repeat it. Picks up target early and works with good direction down the mound. He commands a FB that sits 73-74mph, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup with some sinking action that he throws with FB arm speed. CB was best pitch during his bullpen. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and even stance. A direct barrel path, with some quickness to hands, and fast bat through the hitting zone. He squared up baseballs into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 82mph during his round of BP. With another year of development, we foresee this 2-way player having a bright future on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
