10/10/2021 - All-In Membership - Sauget (St. Louis), IL Parker is a C prospect who will graduate in 2023. Medium frame stocky build with strength present and room to add throughout. Behind the plate, he has an easy sit, with quick feet, and ability to move well laterally. Presents a good target, who hinges at elbow, and works his thumb under keeping balls in the strike zone. Good direction towards second base with a short/quick arm and an arm velocity of 90mph and a best pop time of 1.90 seconds. He is quick down to block and deadens ball out front. At the plate, he hits from a crouched and even stance. He hits into a firm front side, with quick hands, and ability to stay inside the baseball. Hips/hands stay connected and showed late bat whip. He balls into both gaps during BP with a bat exit velocity up to 87mph. Another 2 years of growth and development will bode well for his opportunities at the next level.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Parker is an athletic C/RHP who is as a prospect on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Runners will not want to test his arm with impressive pop times of 2.12. Offensively, he continues to shine through an open setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, his righty has a 2 pitch arsenal in which to keep hitters guessing. Fastball shows a range of 78-79 mph. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with tailing action. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches, working both sides of the plate.

09/04/2020 - HS All-Region Tournament Parker continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are strong (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times showed in the 2.18 range with accuracy / carry (87 mph velocity) on his throws. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 82 mph Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with tight spin and late depth. He maintains arm speed on his changeup showing a feel for pitch with sink. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

07/28/2020 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Parker is a coachable catching prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. Behind the plate, Parker tracks the ball into his glove and replaces his feet to throw. He creates good angles to block and is quick recovering to his feet. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a centered stride. He rotates his core through the zone well and produces solid line drives. Overall, Parker is a solid prospect who has upside on the diamond.

11/17/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Germantown (Memphis), TN Parker is an athletic and talented 2023 utility prospect. Behind the dish, Parker presents a low target, he works behind the ball, and sees the ball into his glove. When blocking, he leads with his glove and moves laterally well. When throwing, he has a clean exchange, he has good footwork, and has a quick release. At 2B, Parker is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and works from the ground up. He has a good first step to the ball and makes the routine play. At the plate, Parker starts in a crouched stance, he gets his front foot down on time, and stays balanced through contact. He has a good bat path and is a line drive hitter that shows pop to the middle part of the field. Parker will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

01/18/2019 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Parker is a coachable C/2B prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown. Behind the plate, Parker tracks the ball into his glove and gains momentum well on his throws. His arm fits his position and he makes accurate throws with carry through the 2B bag. He is quick moving to block and creates good angles. Sitting in a lower primary stance can help Parker improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a soft stride. He gets his hands activated on time and is explosive driving his lower half through. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed and good extension, leading to solid gap to gap pop. Parker can improve as a hitter by continuing to add strength. With four more years to develop, Parker has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

11/18/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Germantown (Memphis), TN Parker is a solid, 2-way player who catches and plays 2nd base. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
