11/10/2022 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Parker is a 2027 grad out of Marlton, NJ who continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Select Training event in Arizona. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 1B, he shows smooth/fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, hitting/power potential has improved through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At the event, he was 4 for 9 with 3 2B. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 75 mph. Fastball showed a range of 73-75 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with gradual break. Control is a plus as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Parker has a very bright future ahead of himself as he enters his 8th grade season.

10/02/2022 - Official Player Development Membership - Manalapan, NJ Parker showed a spike in radar velocity to 75 MPH and hitting numbers to 38's during his last workout with The Factory. At 1B, Parker has good pre-pitch actions, active feet, and he moves well to the glove side. He fields low and athletically, plays through properly, and throws with accuracy and momentum across the diamond. On the mound, this LHP has athletic actions, he works in good tempo, and has a clean arm circle. He separates on time, gets good extension, and finishes well. Offensively, Parker has a square set-up, good balance, and solid bat speed. He swings on plane, makes square contact, and hits line drives consistently.

02/26/2022 - Mid Atlantic Regional Pitching/Catching & Offensive Skills Combined Weekend (MS) Parker New, 1B/LHP 2027, Marlton, NJ Great LH swing overall, plus swing path, stays compact and accelerates through contact nicely. Stays fluid through the entire swing and has a very quick time to contact. Consistent hard contact and great trajectory to play as a gap to gap hitter. Develop a little more lower 1/2 strength and we can see Parker will develop into a very solid LHH. On the mound, has very good feel for his body mechanics and pitch mix. Good tail and run on the FB (67-70mph), utilizes a 2 Seam grip. Breaking ball (54-57mph) dives across the zone nicely and shows he has very good feel and control for the pitch. Rounds out his arsenal with a very good CH (59-62mph), uses FB arm speed to create deception and good downward movement makes it tough for hitters to find the barrel.

07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Parker is a graduating class of 2026 1B/LHP. In the field, he shows good actions. He does a good job of making the routine play. Shows a clean arm with accurate throws. At the plate, he hits from an even and squatted stance with comfortable hands. Does a good job of activating his lower 1/2. Hits into a firm front side with a lower 1/2 that works through the baseball. Gets his barrel on plane early and extends through the baseball. On the mound, he flashes 2 pitches for strikes. Fastball works up to 68MPH while he shows a change up with feel in the mid 50s range. Did a good job of competing in the strike zone and was able to record 4 strikeouts in only 3 innings of work. Parker is a good player that will have a bright future in this game with continued development.

12/29/2019 - Accelerated Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Parker is a 1B/LHP prospect who will graduate in 2026. In the field, Parker shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth getting into his load and maintains center balance. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to solid contact to all fields. On the mound, Parker gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. He extends through his release and keeps his pitches around the zone. Parker shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 54mph with tailing action. Changeup sits from 51-52mph with tailing action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
