12/20/2014 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Parker plays with high energy and displays excellent leadership qualities. At 3b he is sure handed, seems to always be in the right position and makes accurate throws. Offensively, he has a square and balanced set-up, good barrel accuracy, a level path to baseball and ability to hits to all fields. The incorporation of his lower half into the swing consistently will help him increase his batting success rate. On the mound he displays a very consistent repeatable delivery, the ability to throw a lot of strikes and does an excellent job of fielding his position. As he learns to work downhill more effectively his velocity and ability to keep the ball down in the zone will increase.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
