06/09/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas This athletic RHH SS shows a bright future on the diamond with the makings of a special type player at the next level. Offensively, he has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage, resulting in a barrel explosion (91 mph exit velocity) with the ball coming off well off his barrel. Defensive abilities are tremendous as he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft/sure and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground (6.83 60 time), displaying range. Arm strength is near a pro level (90 mph velocity) with throws displaying zip across the diamond. Peyton has a lot of potential and will get looks from pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
