01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Peyton has the skill set to compete and make a difference on any field he plays on. His hands are quick at the plate with fluid actions to work directly to the ball. He has great bat speed and a strong lower half that generates pop to all fields and he sprays line drives for base hits. He can play both middle infield spots with the footwork and hands to get up the middle and make DP turns at the bag. His athleticism, first step and angles give him extensive range and his accurate arm plays at both positions on flips and throws. Peyton will be a definite contributor for whatever teams he plays with.

12/27/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Peyton is an exciting, muscular SS prospect who hustles like crazy every time he steps on the field. He is a very smooth defender at short, with the range and arm to stay on the left side of the infield. He shows quick footwork to both his glove and backhand side with extended lateral range and good quickness. He has athletic actions to field low to the ground with presented hands and has a quick release to show off his strong arm. At the plate, this RHH has an athletic setup and active load to get good separation between his upper and lower half. He has quick hands and a direct path to the ball to create fast bat speed and use all fields with a line drive approach. Smoothing out his actions in the box will lead to more consistency with his timing and result in more hard hit balls. Peyton was one of the top players at Pirate City and he is an eye opening prospect who we expect to see playing ball at the next level.

10/23/2016 - College PREP - Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA Peyton is a talented SS prospect who has an athletic build and solid skill set. His 60 time currently comes in at 6.98 seconds and arm strength at 80 mph. In the field, Peyton is very fluid with his actions and does a great job getting around the baseball to field it in a square position. He presents his glove and has clean exchange leading into a quick arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Peyton does a great job playing through the baseball with momentum towards his target and a quick release producing accurate throws with good strength. Offensively, Peyton has a square setup with a good load and takes a short stride. He has firm front side works to stay on top of the baseball. He has a controlled aggressive approach producing line drives to each gap. Peyton has talent on both sides of the ball and the ability to impact a program at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
