11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Lebanon (Nashville), TN PJ is a thin OF who will graduate in 2023. Defensively, PJ has active feet, he tracks well, and takes a quick 1st step to the ball. He fields squarely, makes plays, and throws with consistency and momentum to his target after a clean exchange. If PJ can improve his angles to the ball, avoid drifting, and attack more aggressively, solid OF skills can further improve. Offensively, PJ has an open stance, fast bat speed, and strength in his swing. He has an athletic swing and pop in his stick. Offensive numbers will get better with some work on swing plane, barrel accuracy, and rhythm/timing.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
