01/26/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Delray Beach, FL Preston is a young, 2-way player who plays 3B and RHP. Defensively, Preston covers some ground, he has good actions, and he fields squarely. He makes plays, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy from a loose arm action to his target. On the mound, Preston has good balance, a clean arm circle, and he separates his hands on time. He keeps his eyes on target, shows good glove side lead, and finishes completely. At the plate, Preston has a square stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He swings on plane, works the ball gap to gap, and he uses his lower body. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
