Quincy continues to shine with his baseball abilities. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times showed in 2.15 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. At the plate, he shows a tall setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

Quincy continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.15 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays fluid / smooth actions. Feet are active but needs to attack ball and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

Quincy continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities on the diamond. Behind the plate he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering ball well out front. Pop times time showed in the 2.19 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, defensive abilities are well above average as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Hands are clean is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying well above average hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At the event, he was 4 for 9 with 2 2B.

Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.19 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean but needs to present more out front. At the plate, hitting abilities are now well above average with solid power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

Quincy is a strong C/3B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. Behind the dish, Quincy is efficient moving to block and centers the ball in the middle of his body. He presents a good target to the pitcher and sticks the ball well. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, working to keep them accurate to the 2B bag. At 3B, Quincy takes a good prep step and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Long tossing can help Quincy build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He works to barrel up the baseball and sprays the ball to all fields. Quincy can create more consistent contact by working a smoother load into his swing. Overall, Quincy is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
07/10/2022 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (HS)
Quincy is a 2025 C/RHP who worked hard to improve his skillsets at the Cape Cod Training and Competition. Behind the plate, he plays with good effort and energy as well as being coachable. He works to center the baseball and tracks ball to mitt. He gets rid of the ball as he made accurate throws to second base from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 72mph and a best pop time of 2.35 seconds. Showed ability to roll his shoulders and smoother the baseball on his blocks. On the mound, he showed a good mound presence and was aggressive in the zone. He has a simple rocker step as he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on-time. He attacks hitters with a FB that sits 58-63mph with some cutting action, and an 11/5 shaped breaking ball the flashes good depth through the strike zone. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and square stance with comfortable hands. He showed good awareness of the strike zone as well as a 2-strike approach. Is centered at contact with ability to consistently hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 84mph during his round of BP. During the event, he reached base 3 times with a double and 2 singles. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee this 2-way player having a bright future on the baseball field.

Quincy is a C/3B prospect who will graduate in 2025. Behind the dish, Quincy is efficient moving to block and keeps dirt balls in front of him. He receives with soft hands and makes consistent throws to the 2B bag. Sitting in a more square stance can help Quincy improve his overall catching ability. At 3B, Quincy shows efficient footwork and creates good angles. He makes the routine plays and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them consistent across the diamond. Quincy can field ground balls more efficiently by getting into a lower fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and works to barrel up the baseball, driving the ball to his pull side. Quincy can create more consistent contact by maintaining center balance throughout his swing. Overall, Quincy is a solid prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
