06/07/2020 - All-In Membership - Bowie, MD Quinn is a SS prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At SS, Quinn shows efficient footwork and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws consistently on-line to his target. Getting rid of the ball quicker on his throws can help Quinn improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a short swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and line drives. Quinn can improve as a hitter by getting more extension through the ball. Overall, Quinn is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

12/07/2019 - Mid-Atlantic Regional Offensive Skills Weekend (Ages 14-18) Quinn is a SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Accelerated Training Weekend. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He gets back into his load and leads well with his lower half. He works to barrel up the baseball and drives the ball to his pull side. Working a smoother rhythm into his load can help Quinn improve as a hitter. Overall, Quinn is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

07/16/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Quinn continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action clean but needs to present more out front. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind but needs to play through more with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

03/17/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Ashburn (DC), VA Quinn is a tall, 2-way player with broad shoulders. At SS, Quinn has active feet, soft hands, and he fields in a low position. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
