  • RHP/3BPosition Projection

10/23/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Bowie, MD Rab is a switch hitting RHP/3B in the 2026 class. On the mound, he has clean arm action from an over-the-top slot. His FB sat 60-4 with movement in the strike zone. His CB sat 53-6 with 11/5 shape and can be used for a strike and swing and miss pitch. His CH offered excellent deception and sat 56-7. Working to gain extension on his release will add velo as he progresses on the mound. In the field, he uses athletic actions to make the routine play. He moves well to glove and arm side and his feet are in sync with his glove actions. Uses a short arm action to make accurate feeds and is quick on his turns to 2B. At the plate, he is fairly equal from either side. He shows pull side production and his barrel path is on-plane. He gets into his legs to generate power and with additional hand separation, he can become a gap-to gap- hitter. Overall, Rab is a potential prospect and a good 2026 to keep an eye on.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
