08/13/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Franklin (Milwaukee), WI Raine is a 2B prospect who will graduate in 2024. In the field, Raine is agile moving to the ball and gets into an athletic position. He fields with soft hands and makes a clean exchange. He gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. Long tossing to build up his arm strength can help Raine improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting back into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a direct swing and produces loud contact and line drives. Raine can improve as a hitter by driving his top hand more. With four more years to develop, Raine has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
