06/05/2016 - College PREP - Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA Rawser is a lean, athletic SS who will graduate in 2020. At SS, feet are aggressive as he works to square balls up in the MIF. Glove action is soft / sure but will benefit by presenting more out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. Working to increase foot quickness will aid in improving range. At the plate, he shows a squared / balanced setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact, mainly to the pull side. Power will increase as he works to utilize his lower half more efficiently. With 4 years to further develop, Rawser has abilities with time and room to continue to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
