01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Reggie is a 2024 MINF prospect out of Grosse Pointe Park, MI who is a University of Michigan verbal commit. He continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities and did so at the Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-American event. At SS, defensive abilities are excellent as he displays smooth /fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Hands are firm and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry (90 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter with outstanding abilities from both sides. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all field with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Reggie as he enters his junior baseball season.

02/18/2022 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - East) Reggie is a SS who will be graduating in the class of 2024. He shows off an athletic body with room to fill out. Showed off great athleticism and ran his 60 in only 6.99 seconds. In the field, he shows good feet and works through the baseball. He does a good job of fielding the ball out front and off of his left foot. He showed lateral range multiple times throughout game action. Also flashed plus arm strength at 90 MPH. At the plate, this switch hitter shows an aggressive approach and is willing to hit a fastball early in the count. He shows a good approach and will use the whole field. He competes well throughout at bats, especially with 2 strikes. Shows some pop from both side and had mid 80’s exit velos from both sides. Reggie is a good kid that will benefit from continued development. He's got a very bright future ahead of himself and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.

01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Reggie is an athletic SS prospect out of Grosse Pointe Park, MI who continues to shine on the diamond. In the field, Reggie shows fluid footwork and is agile covering ground. He creates good angles and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate/on-line throws across the diamond. At the plate, this switch hitter shows an advanced approach through an athletic setup. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a level swing with fast bat speed, spraying line drives to all fields. Overall, Reggie is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he continues to progress.

02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - East) Reggie is a 2024 SS. He has an athletic build with room to add strength. He ran the 60-yard dash in an impressive 6.82 seconds. He hits from an even-based athletic stance, flat path who gets good extension with middle approach. Good contact skills who showed ability to spray line drives. Primary SS, shows solid lateral agility and hand actions. Quick twitch athlete who can play at a high level. Ranges well, fielded cleanly and shows quick release, clocked up to 90 mph on throws across diamond. He has 4 years of continued growth and development which will bode well for his career at the next level.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Reggie is an athletic SS prospect who continues to shine on the diamond. In the field, Reggie moves light on his feet and fields with soft hands. His exchange is smooth and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate throws with carry through his target. At the plate, this switch hitter shows an advanced approach through an open setup. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a short swing with fast bat speed, leading to load contact and great gap to gap power. Overall, Reggie is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he continues to progress.

10/14/2020 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Reggie is an exciting player to watch as he shined during the Arizona Fall Classic. His pure athleticism and speed set him apart on the diamond. Defensively, Reggie works lightly on the balls his feet with plus first step quickness. He fields with soft, sure hands and makes strong throws across the diamond. At the plate, this switch hitter shows to be a difference maker from both sides. He is smooth to load and works through a level swing path with explosive bat speed, producing loud line drives and great gap to gap pop. Overall, Reggie is a talented prospect who is on track to be among the top in his class.

09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament Reggie is an athletic 2024 SS prospect who showed well during the All-Region Tournament. In the field, Reggie shows quick footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is quick and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line across the diamond. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and leads well with his lower half. He barrels up the baseball well and shows great gap to gap power. Overall, Reggie is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he continues to progress.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Reggie is a coachable SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Reggie takes a good first step and shows quick footwork. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid getting his hands activated in a smooth load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a smooth swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. Overall, Reggie is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he progresses.

07/16/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Reggie continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he displays clean/smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up, presenting hands as he makes the plays. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, hitting/power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel through a line drive approach. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 75 mph. Fastball shows a range of 72-75 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with loose spin and gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for the pitch with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to develop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Reggie continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best to time to date. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays clean/smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is soft/sure and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with zip across the diamond but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Barrel accuracy is a plus and he utilizes his lower half well with power improving as he continues to get stronger.

12/20/2018 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Reggie is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Winter Classic. In the field, Reggie shows a good first step and active footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them strong through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a controlled stride. He gets his hands activated on time and remains centered with his lower half. He takes a level swing with plus barrel control, leading to solid line drives. On the mound, Reggie starts with a simple rock step and gathers to a balance point over the rubber. He separates his hands on time and works with a loose, quick arm, staying inline towards the plate. Reggie shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 70mph with arm side run. Changeup sits at 59mph with deceptive arm speed. With five more years to develop, Reggie has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

10/13/2018 - Mid-Atlantic Regional Hitting Weekend (Ages 12-14) Reggie is an athletic prospect that worked hard and made several adjustments during the Mid-Atlantic Hitting Camp. At the plate, Reggie starts in an athletic and relaxed stance. He loads his hands back into the drive position, he gets his front foot down on time, and creates backside rotation with his lower half. He has fast hands and gets the barrel to the ball consistently. He needs to continue to attack the inside part of the ball and get top hand extension through contact. Reggie is a line drive hitter and will continue to improve with experience.

09/23/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Reggie is a young, athletic, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Reggie has active feet, presentable hands, and he fields in a low/square position. He takes good angles, fields in rhythm, and has a clean exchange with consistency and momentum across the diamond. On the mound, Reggie has a quick/clean arm circle, he works in good tempo, and has a fluid/athletic delivery. At the plate, Reggie has a square/athletic set-up, good balance, and he swings aggressively. He has fast bat speed, he makes square/consistent contact, and he uses his lower body. Reggie can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
