08/02/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Reggie is a hard working athlete who is coachable and pays attention to detail. In the OF, he has active footwork and is aggressive hustling to his right and left. He secures the ball with 2-hands and has a clean exchange to throw. Working to gain more ground through the ball (crow-hop) will help to get even more into his throws. At the plate, this RHH displays a tall setup with active hands. He tracks the ball out of the pitchers hand and into the zone. He squares the ball up and hits line-drives. More power potential is there with more use of his lower 1/2. By being more aggressive early in the count it will help to jump on FB's that he can drive. Reggie is a gamer who has upside as he continues to get stronger.

08/04/2016 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training & Tournament at Historic Dodgertown Reggie continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, he has improved his hitting / power potential as well through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he works proper angles in tracking down balls. Glove action is soft / sure as he presents hands well out front. He works to get behind balls and plays through well. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

05/15/2016 - College PREP - Bowie, MD Reggie just completed his freshman year and has a young solid frame (5'7/165). The 2B makes routine plays with quick lateral movements while on the balls of his feet. He shows subtle/soft hands with an accurate arm. Although Reggie picks out hops, working to get around ball and maintain rhythm through target will make him be complete fielder. At the dish, the right handed hitter sits quietly in his set up, lets his hands separate and shows average bat speed. Staying more direct through the middle of the field will allow him to drive ball to all fields. Overall Reggie is a 2019 grad is a pure 2B with upside in his future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
