04/09/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Louisville, KY Riley is a tall (6'2"/210) 1B who will graduate in 2021. Defensively at 1B, he hustles hard as he works to get into a square fielding position. He tries to get rid of the ball in a hurry as he fires throws with a loose arm action. At the plate, this big righty displays a balanced/square setup. He strides square to each pitch as he looks to drive the ball back up through the middle of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
