08/31/2008 - College PREP - Oklahoma City, OK Riley is a young outfielder with a tall, lean body that shows projection as it continues to fill out. He has a lot of athletic actions. Foot speed is above average and he utilizes his quick feet in taking down balls in the outfield. He does need to work on taking better routes/angles to work in getting behind fly balls to play through with momentum to target. Arm strength is average from a lot arm slot. He needs to raise arm slot, staying on top to aid in more carry. A strict long toss program will also aid in developing more arm strength. He does takes too many steps in getting rid of the baseball and could use some adjustments in his footwork to throw. At the plate, Tracy has average ability with slightly average power. Swing path is long due to an arm bar and hitch created in the load. Hitting grades and power numbers will improve quickly with some instruction and adjustments at the plate. With 2 years to further develop, Riley has potential with a lot of room to improve.
