12/15/2019 - College PREP - Madison (NYC), NJ Robbie continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an open setup. Hands are quick and work to and through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently through the swing. At 3B, he displays smooth, clean actions. Feet are aggressive as he active but needs to attack balls more and play through with his body. Glove is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program.

08/14/2018 - National Tryout Plus - Trenton, NJ Robbie showed some offensive upgrades during his last workout with The Factory. He stands in the box with a tall/open stance, he loads well, and stays inside the ball. Robbie has good bat speed, he swings on plane, and he makes consistent contact. He can hit to all fields and uses a some lower body.

12/27/2017 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Robbie is a talented 2022 3B/2B prospect. At the hot corner, Robbie plays through the ball, and makes accurate throws across the diamond. Continuing to present a low/early glove, working from the ground up and exchanging the ball in front of his body will allow him to get into a strong position to throw. At the plate, Robbie starts in an open stance and loads his hands back into the drive position. He creates rhythm in his load and has discipline at the plate. Continuing to loosen the grip on the bat and using the lower half will allow him to attack the inside part of the ball. Robbie has a high baseball IQ and makes good decisions with the ball. Robbie will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

11/17/2016 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City Robbie is a young 3B/RHP who will graduate in 2022. In the field, Robbie shows active feet as he covers ground to field the ball. Robbie can improve defensively by getting into a lower position to field the ball. At the plate, Robbie sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride to the ball. He is fluid getting back into his load and comes through the zone well with his lower half. He comes through the zone with decent bat speed, leading to consistent contact and line drives. Robbie can improve as a hitter by taking a more direct swing path to the ball. On the mound, Robbie shows a two pitch mix with his fastball sitting from 51-52mph. Changeup ranges from 45-48mph with good sinking action as he throws with fastball arm speed. Robbie can improve as a pitcher by finishing directly towards the plate. Mental makeup is a plus as Robbie displayed a great attitude and worked hard during the event. Overall, Robbie is a solid prospect who has the time and potential to further develop his skills.

08/08/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Trenton, NJ Robbie is an athletic 3B/RHP. At the hot corner, he gets into a low/athletic fielding position. He gets around on GB's and throws accurately to his target. On the mound, this RHP keeps his eyes on target with a good balance point. He explodes towards home plate using his lower ½ as he deliveries each pitch. At the plate, Robbie swings with balance and stays inside the baseball. He utilizes his lower ½ as he drives balls to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Defense
1.	Soft hands
2.	Arm strength
3.	Play through
Pitching
1.	Strong front side
2.	Off-speed mix
3.	Repeat delivery
Offense

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
