2025 Baseball Factory Evaluation Workout - TX Robert showed some nice improvements since we saw him a few months ago. 60 time, arm strength, and exit velocity all showed as personal bests. Defensively, Roberts continues to shine. He has good range and athletic actions. He presents his hands and shows a quick arm on his throws. At the plate, Robert has an athletic set up and a short and direct stride with good timing. He has a good use of his lower half and shows a level swing and consistent contact.

12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Robert is a 2027 shortstop and right-handed pitcher from Parks, LA, who worked hard to refine his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City camp. On defense, he shows active feet and athletic actions, with great body control when fielding the baseball. His quick exchange and accurate throws make him a reliable presence on the field. As a pitcher, Robert demonstrates a confident demeanor and pitches to contact, competing effectively on the mound. At the plate, he starts in an athletic stance with comfortable hands and shows good timing and rhythm in his compact swing. In live game action, Robert reached base four times—recording two singles and two walks—while also displaying solid base running skills and good dirt ball reads. While he can continue to improve his overall strength, Robert's potential is evident, and as a sophomore, he has plenty of time for growth and development. With continued hard work, he will continue to improve and make an even greater impact on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
